~*Sweet Sixteen*~

Ever since we adopted Sixteen in May of 2002, he has become
a welcomed fixture in our lives. We couldn't have asked for a more gentler,
friendlier creature, and that's why he will always be my "Sweet Sixteen".
Here's his story...

Hello, my name is Sixteen, but please, call me Sweetie.
I know what you're thinking...what a beautiful name for a cat, right?
Okay, okay, you're wondering how I happened to wind up with a name
like "Sixteen". Got a minute? Here's my story...

Well, in June 1999, I became the proud owner of a family.
Oh boy, did I love them, and they loved me too.
Unfortunately, they moved to another country and couldn't take
me with them.

Don't be sad for me because their next door neighbors, my current family,
was more than happy to take me in and love me. You know, I
really believe that they needed me much more than I needed them.

Let me tell you, it has taken some getting used to.
I mean, leaving two angelic little girls and moving in with three
rough, rugged, Rugrats! Whew, did I have to put them in their places.
Now they know who the BOSS is.

Anyway, to make a long story short, I was the birthday gift
from my original dad to my original mom on...you guessed
it...June 16, 1999. And that's how I got the name:

Sure, it's an unusual name, but hey, I'm a unique kind of cat!
