"Here Comes the Bride"
If you are married (or have been married) and would like to create a
page about your wedding, that would be great. If you already have a page,
then your HW is already done and you can just direct us to it. You might
even want to spruce it up a bit. Another option is to write about your idea
of a perfect wedding. Jules (a classmate who is getting married soon)
provided me with some wedding planning links (below) that you could use to
get some ideas. Maybe you could find a beautiful wedding dress to show us.
You could find a gorgeous wedding cake to make our mouth's water. How about
finding the most perfect engagement ring? Or how about describing an ideal
honeymoon spot? You can do any or all of these things. Let your fantasies
unwind!
I've always dreamed of having the perfect Cinderella-type wedding...you know, the one with the horse-drawn carriage, the most handsome man, the best ring, and the most beautiful wedding dress that anyone has every seen. For this assignment, I created a page that reflected my idea of a perfect wedding, but then I removed it when I realized that all of that simply didn't matter to me anymore.
During the time of this assignment, while compiling all of the wedding graphics and information that I needed to complete my perfect wedding page, my relationship hit a snag. I don't really want to get into details, and my relationship is much better now, but let’s just say that I had my doubts about whether I was truly loved. All kinds of negative feelings and thoughts were going through me, and I could actually feel my heart hurting at one point (if you know what I mean). That was when I realized that my idea of the perfect wedding has nothing to do with the things mentioned above. It has to do with the love and happiness that we feel for each other.
For me to know, WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT, that the man that I’m about to marry really and truly loves me, just as much as I love him, is my idea of the perfect wedding.
