We've made it through the long cold snowy and/or rainy winter and our skin is dry, chapped and pasty white. We need a Pamper Day! Inspired by Sadie's "Treat Week" that we've enjoyed in the past for extra credit, this time I'd like you to pick any day before May 17th and come up with a way to pamper yourself royally! Try something new: a pedicure or a massage, highlights for your hair, a facial masque, an at-home spa treatment. I'll send you some links to get you started. In the US, we have Mother's Day in May so maybe your family can participate in your Pamper Day. Tell us what you did and maybe teach us how we can pamper ourselves, too. Enjoy! You're worth it! I normally plan my Pamper Days for immediately after the children and hubby leave the house.

My personal hairdresser arrives first. I begin with my usual shampoo, henna, and deep conditioning treatment. Before I rinse out the conditioner, my masseuse arrives just in time to provide me with a full-body massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure.

I then soak in a whirlpool bath full of bubbles and lavender oil (trying desperately not to ruin my Shirley Temple curls that the hair dresser just provided me with) while watching a sappy, tear-jerking love story on my bathroom television.

I get dressed in my silk loungewear and head down to the kitchen where the chef has prepared a light lunch for me.

Then the phone wakes me up from that dream and it?s my husband reminding me to pick up his clothes from the cleaners ?. a girl can dream.
